Technology and characteristics of SLA Laser Rapid Prototyping Technology

rapid prototyping principle is a computer controlled laser beam on the photosensitive resin as raw material surface to point by point scanning, scanning area of the resin layer

is no heat diffusion, coupled with the chain reaction can be well controlled, can ensure that the polymerization reaction does not occur outside the laser point, so the processing

 precision, good surface quality, the use of raw materials is close to 100%, can produce complex, fine parts, high efficiency. For the large size of the parts, it can be used to form

 the first sub block and then the bonding method of production.

  Characteristics of SLA rapid prototyping:
1, the processing precision is high, the product general can reach 0.1mm/100mm by SLA laser rapid prototyping;
2, can create complex shapes (such as hollow parts), especially fine (such as jewelry, handicrafts, etc.), suitable for mobile phones, radio, radio, mouse and other sophisticated

 parts and toys and high-tech electronics industry, home appliances shell or model, motorcycle, car accessories or models, medical equipment, etc.;
3, manufacturing parts fast, can be carried out 0.1 - 0.15mm scan;
4, good surface quality, can produce very fine details of the thin wall structure, postprocessing easily;
5, the processing in place, many CNC boxart processing to the details can processing, so as to reduce the processing workload.
6, SLA hand toughness than CNC scaffold, buckle located easily broken;
7, compared with the traditional manufacturing methods: the prototype of the replication, high exchange, manufacturing process and manufacturing prototype geometry has

 nothing to do; processing cycle is short, cost is low, the general manufacturing cost is reduced by 70%, the processing cycle is shortened by more than 50%.

8, similar to traditional engineering plastics such as ABS, with certain viscosity of transparent or meters yellow liquid, make the workpiece is translucent or 

beige, better strength, can assembly, self tapping screws, spray paint, silk screen, the disadvantage is not resistant to high temperature.
